Old APS unichip reflash?

I have a friend who has an old DOS based Unichip from his APS single turbo setup. He has a map set for 91 octane and I'm not sure what timing, I'm trying to get the info from the tuner now. Anyway he now has a utec and doesn't need the old unichip anymore and would sell it to me for $100.

My car is N/A with the basic intake/ztube/spacer/exhaust stuff, I was wondering if anyone knows if its possible to have the thing reflashed to something that would work for my car? Cause I'm pretty damn sure that as is the timing would be to aggressive for my car and I don't wanna mess it up.

I know people are gonna say dont bother/get osiris/whatever but at this point I don't feel like spending 400-600 bucks or whatever it would cost me to get something else.

If it can't be reflashed, then [you've probably already thought of this, but I'll mention it anyway] you can try and sell this Unichip and use the money you get from the sale to buy Osiris.

I havent bought it yet, but if thats the case then I'll just save my money instead of trying to resell it.

Also I used the Cipher tool today to advance the timing +2 deg maybe good for like 2 hp haha
