Supposedly the 1/2 is better for high RPM's while the 5/16 is better for mid range. Which one is better, well that's for you to decide. Pretty much ask yourself how you drive and pick the proper spacer. 90%+ of the time I'm daily driving so the 5/16 (mid range) works best for me.

Yes I was so stoked to find that. Now I just need to replace the camshaft sensor get some test pipes and possible a pop charge filter.

I don't understand how there can be such a difference just by the manufacturer? Any feedback here? I understand the materials are different, but is the blox is also thermal, and NASA quality for heat, then why the difference? If it let in more heat, higher temps could make a difference, but i don't see that being possible here?

also, why do some kits come with the manifold gasket when you buy the plenum spacer, and some don't? is that a must to change when doing this upgrade?

Anyone feel free to chime in on this.

I used to have the BLOX - its made from ABS (thermal plastic) which prevents heat from transferring up.

My upper plenum was always cooler than when I had my Motordyne 1/2"

The difference of the plenum spacers is size mostly - the smaller size actually flows air better

The gaskets are all about heat exchange - they help but not much and not worth the price IMO - since i have them
