Last Dyno results.

OK, I'm a little concerned here.

Here are my performance mods, suspension, etc. not mentioned because they are N/A for dyno numbers.

------------------------------------------
MotorDyne 5/16" IsoThermal spacer
MotorDyne MREV2
JWT PopCharger
Fast Intentions Intimidator exhaust
Fast Intentions resonated test pipes
UpRev OSIRIS
Gordgee Grounding kit
Carbonetic lightweight flywheel
------------------------------------------

My final numbers last weekend on the DynoJet at UpRev were:

basically 267HP and 250 lb/ft.

WTF? This seems low especially after seeing someone else with an 06 6MT put nothing more than an exhaust on and hit 264HP.

I know dynos are "just numbers" but ****.

I don't know, what do you guys think?

That seems about right. A bone stock G35 will put down around 225 give or take a few horsies.

yeah I guess. Anyone else think this is low though.

Last dyno was on DynoJet about 60 degrees outside low humidity.

Your numbers seem to be about right. If you really want to get into the 300's put some cams in there, you will REALLY wake it up then.

ehhh, just get a Vortech and call it a day. It's twice as much as cams/install but you'll be well over 300 with potential for plenty more.

They look good, honestly. I don't know about the whole "dynojets are the same wherever you go" or whatever the statement was I saw in a different thread, but I only put down 246/233 on a dynojet before my first e-tune. I'm still trying to get a few G's and Z's together to do a dyno session before I go back and do another run. Of course, if I were to go to Uprev and have them tune it on the dyno I think my numbers would go up a bit more.

Do you have the raw data file from the dyno?

You just answered your own question

Do you have a stock baseline? If so, like I have always said, these numbers are nothing more than numbers; almost meaningless if you didn't have a previous dyno in the same dyno with at least lesser mods.

The only way you might be able to do a fair analyses is if another G35 dyno'd with you. You could use that as a comparison & reference.

I never comment on numbers alone – unless they are before and after mods... really they mean nothing by themselves (I wouldn’t worry about).

If you were comparing them to other cars on that dyno that day and you were low compared to them, I'd understand your concern...

Yeah I guess it is. It's just that I made the mistake of having a number in my head. I really, REALLY thought I would be over the 270 mark. Like closer to 280. I figured I'd hit somewhere between 275-280.

Oh well.
