What is the name of the place that sells the larger MAF's? I think it was Z1 or something like that-do you have a link to a web site? I am thinking about HFC's/larger MAF and then a re-tune.

Remember that you will need a larger intake tube (though you may be able to squeeze it into a stock z-tube, but I wouldn't). You will also need a tune......this is a must. The car will not run worth a damn without one. Last I heard they were sold out, but you can give it a shot.

I have an Injen CAI so will it work? I talked to Dave about the tune....sigh...$100 for this, $4-500 for the HFC's and then $200 for the re-tune.....

I don't see why it wouldn't, but I am not a fan of long tube style cai's. Is the tube greater than 80mm or does it neck down to fit the stock maf?

80 millimeters = 3.1496063 inches . Although the website says the maf is 3" the inlet is 80mm and the side connected to the intake tube is 78mm.

I'd ditch those stock cats as fast as I could.....pick up 3-5whp with hfc and 5-7 with test-pipes.

A couple more mods and you will probably catch up to me.

It was really lean when I got there..the tune really fixed my afr..I have to say the car doesn't feel a whole lot faster. It just feels more consistant..the power is really evenly distributed now..before I would have a big spike a 4500 and not as much usable power, now its just steady and strong.

I use the ubber cheap z1 2.5" TP's that cost like 130 shipped. So far they seem to be of pretty good quality and large ID. I'd just stick em on as soon as you pass emissions.
