wideband question

this might seem like a dumb question, but i'm beginning to learn more about fuel tuning and wanted to know if its necessary to have a wideband o2 sensor for each cylinder bank on a vee engine?

No. If your engine is running properly, the average from all cylinders will be good enough for an accurate tune. I have gauges on the left side and right side. I only see a difference in A/F when something is wrong, but since I have dual exhaust, there is no place on the exhaust where both sides are combined that would allow for a combined reading anyway. When I tune, I am only using one side (average of 3 cylinders).
