Read my original post - not at all possible because I already had the Popcharger and Ztube the first time it was dyno'd.

Opss sorry. Well then two thumbs up. Now I'm pretty excited to put it in. I was mainly getting it for the sound and some better throttle response.

Too bad no stock dyno. I would've like to known the effects of popcharger/z tube. anyway good post.

Probably not much from them alone. I didn't really even feel any difference in seat-of-the-pants feel, just louder and a slight bump in mpg (maybe 1-1.5mpg increase). So I'd guess maybe only 1-2hp tops from intake.

The HR y-pipe I felt a huge difference right away, so I figured it would be at least somewhat notable on the dyno.

thanks for doing this. great info... i just bought the megan hr y pipe with 2.5 inlets and 3 out for my setup.

Nice increase. I would say suggest a tune in the near future because it looks very lean in the middle (above 14 a/f @ 4500). Your torque curve will increase and stabilize if you can get some more fuel in there.

The air fuel was measured when I still had cats, so it will always run 1-2 pts leaner with cats. Now that I have test pipes and some other bolt ons, I want to dyno again soon and see what the AFR looks like.

I just put on the megan hr y pipe and when the car is warming up the engine vibrates a lot. has anyone else had this problem with the hr install. it goes away when the car warms up. on the OEM hr y pipe there are these circular rubber vibration dampeners but i dont know how they work and if they will fix this.

Does anyone know of a y pipe that does the same job as this one? I've had a really hard time finding an HR pipe and the only one i found similar was the megan y pipe but it's 3 inch diameter, kind of too big.

That would be the Motordyne XYZ pipe you're after.

Does it provide the same gains as the HR y pipe? It won't lose any low end power?

The HR version is better because it's got slightly larger piping/better merge/bending.

The XYZ pipe is fully optimized merge and piping diameter with full mandrel bending, it will give way more improvement over the HR y-pipe and maximize your power and torque too. No you will not lose low end power, you should gain some.
