Tuning normally is reference to Air:Fuel ratios and Timing. It optimizes these to have maximum potential for your engine and any performance mods.

Most cars can use the Osiris tune which is very good. There is also the Cobb AccessPORT which can be used to get a decent tune from what I hear.

Technosquare will reflash the ECU if you take it out and send it in to them. Or, you can drive to CA and they will tune on their dyno if you prefer.

Piggy-Back systems connect to the ECU and allow you to change the tune during closed-loop. This would be like the Greddy eManage(Blue and Ultmate). UTEC is a piggy-back with much more functionality. It can almost act like a stand-alone.

Stand-alone units like the Haltech will give you complete control but are much more expensive. Normally only FI guys with fully built engines will go this route.

Whats up guys, on my last final stage of all my mods til I go FI and lookin for some help as to what kinda tune i should get. What's the best reflash i can get for my car? Im in Florida so far i hear the Osiris Uprev Reflash is the best to get and then tune it. I have an 06 6mt coupe wit ztube jwt popcharger md 5/16 spacer mrev2 test pipe n hks exhaust. Any suggestions? I hear Cobb Accessport is good (havent found 1 local here somewhere in Florida). Wanna get the reflash and tune at the same place as they can do it all in 1 shot. Thanks for the help guys.
