Advice my tune map - self tune

I have a e-manage ultimate and did my own tuning with the help of a innovate a/f meter.

currently the A/F is about 12.8-13.1 on WOT till redline so i think it is pretty decent.

Picture of the map

how much timing can i advance further? I already tried to increase from the 2.0 to 4-4.5 and serious i cant tell the diff.

the timing question is hard to find - i read some cars can increase it by 6-7 deg and it is ok.

I am running RON 98 here in singapore.

some mods
JWT intake - custom air box similar to cold air
Stillen Z-tube with heat shield wrap
Kenstyle exhaust
HFC
Motordyne plenum
re-routed the coolant line so that it doesn't flow into throttle body - temperature in singapore is always above 26 deg C.
Engine torque damper
grounding cables

I think that I have 2* from base...at about 3500 it bumps up 1/2* every 500 rpms. At 6500 that would be 5* I believe. Mine is a progressive timing increase based off what we saw on the dyno.

you shouldn't be applying the increase in timing as the throttle position opens, but more at the RPM's increase.

Open loop/Closed loop...you don't really have control with the eManage until you are about 80% open on throttle.

Keep that in mind, what you do BEFORE 70-80% isn't gonna do much.

thanks. will try to increase it to 5 ..

I understand the open loop concept but some how it the butt dyno tells me the acceleration is slightly better when i set those below 60% as well..

I am not sure how fast the close loop compensates when the e-manage tries to add the timing when not under WOT.

You can set them down there, but from left to right it should be more like this:

60% 1 1 1 1 1.5 2 2.5 3 3.5 4 4.5 5 5.5
70% 1.5 1.5 1.5 1.5 2 2.5 3 3.5 4 4.5 5 5.5 6
80% 2 2 2 2 2.5 3 3.5 4 4.5 5 5.5 6 6.5
90% 2 2 2 2 2.5 3 3.5 4 4.5 5 5.5 6 6.5
100% 2 2 2 2 2.5 3 3.5 4 4.5 5 5.5 6 6.5

Just as an example. Hopefully that makes more sense.

Less throttle = less timing (increases as Throttle increases)
More RPM = more timing (increases with rpms)

Its not til about 3000 that I would start to have the gradual increase in timing...or maybe even 3500.

You can control timing anytime, but you can't control fuel when its in open loop.

Now this is interesting!!! I have'nt tuned my g yet but have tuned a quite a few c5s and z28s ,that being said if your timing map is graphed like I think it is there is a "curve" in it which at higher rpms/load there should be less timing.I know i know american cars are different but the principles are still somewhat the same. Also on c5s (vets) there is a separate map for wot/rpm/load.Open loop is primarily for cold starts or tuning w/o maf. I can fully undersand the butt dyno feeling but without a dyno i would raise in increments of 2 degs. ,check for knock, if present ,check a/f ratio, backoff in affected areas and a little before affected areas, look at your map/graph smooth it out , wash, rinse, and repeat. This method has gotten me very close to optimum performance getting very little gains when i dyno. btw can you post up a stock spark ignition map on advance? hmm flame suit?
