Osiris Vs Utec

I am getting the Mrev2+specer,Test Pipes, FI or HKS Exhaust,4.08Gear soon, and i only have the JWT pop charge on my 06 Revup right now.
is Utec way better than Osiris after the tune?

In any case, Osiris is better than a Utec since it directly modifies the ECU parameters vs. the Utec which "fools" the ecu into doing what it wants. I see no point in using a UTEC since Osirus was introduced. The only thing I like about the UTEC is the knock sensing ability but that's about it.

The MRev does nothing to Non revups. well 1-3hp, not worth it.

On rev ups its a different story.

Osiris, hands down.

I can't think of one advantage the UTEC has over the Osiris on a bolt-on VQ35. In the other hand, I can think of many the Osiris has over the UTEC.

Also, if there's a certified UpRev Osiris tuner around your area, your best bet is to get it dyno tuned with the Osiris rather than using UpRev's over-the-counter reflash.

spacer on rev up = nothing. Spacer + mrev on revup = win

just to clear up some of the MD talk...

yes, to what Jeff said

and the MREV2 does make gains for the non-revup, from Motordyne:
When used with on the non-REVUP engine, the gains are very similar to that of the 5/16" spacer but the MREV 2 Manifold will show a slightly lower peak value, with a slightly higher average value and a slightly higher TQ value. Overall, MREV 2 Manifold provides "area under the curve" and is the highest gain plenum mod available.

This is all very poor misinformation.

The MREV2 on a non-rev still has more area under the curve benefit than the spacer.

Spacer alone does nothing for the REVUP, but coupled with the MREV2 is very beneficial.

MREV2 + Spacer on non rev is very nice as well...just need it tuned.

+1 glad someone else here posted this too.

The Osiris option is a great option especially if you are NA. If you are FI, Nitrous, etc there are several other benefits that you have with the UTEC. It can control several other things outside of the stock ECU if you need controlling them this is a very very good option.
