Talking 258whp and 240wtq on 04 at n/a coupe

Hey everyone just got my 04 AT coupe dynoed and tuned at Corr Performance in New Orleans yesterday with the Utec. Car was dynoed on a dyno dynamics dyno aka the heart braker lol. Still in all put down pretty good numbers considering im a 04 VQ35DE with automatic transmision. Base line run was 251hp and 231tq, so i picked up like 7hp and 9pounds of tq off the tune. From what i heard the dyno dynamics is the lowest reading meter out of the dyno jet and mustang dyno thats why its nicked named the heart breaker lol so doing the correction of 13% to replacate the dyno jet i would be at like 290whp and 271tq !?!?! But of corse thats just what they say im waiting for IFO in feb. to bring it to the track and see what she does. Dyno chart and pics and vids comming soon waiting on tuner to email me evey thing.

Mods: Ram intake, headers, test pipes, true dual exhaust, 3pc underdrive pulleys, T/B spacer, Plenum spacer, grounding kit and voltage stablizer.

thanks for checking out my thread commets please VVVVVVVVVV

All numbers came from 4th gear in the sport shifter mode from 2000rpms to 6500rpms my tuner did a pull in 3rd and the numbers were really impressive like 20whp higher. after it was all said and done i ended up doing like 34 pulls on the dyno due to an vdc and slip issue holding the motor back and having to reset the ecu and actually take the car off the dyno twice to reset the limited slip and vdc. it was a big head ace with that sh*t but we worked through it and finally came out with some resluts

sorry my friend but those cant be the actual numbers. The dyno place may have inflated those numbers by adding correction factors to simulate other dynos. I wouldnt go around town racing ppl thinking u have 25Xwhp and get beat by stock wrx, lol. With the mods u have listed u should be around 250whp max (dynojet) bc baseline OEM AT is around 215whp.

Don't pay attention to the numbers... pay attention to the gains

The whole "my car would have put down XXX.XX on another dyno" is as meaningful as 0-60 bench racing.

Do you have a dyno plot? Peak gains aren't as important as seeing how much the powerband has shifted.

Well my friend there was no "Corrections" added to the dyno what it put down is what it put down on the dyno dynamics which was base 251 and after tune 258. the 290 number was just told by doing some basic math and what they have experienced by dynoing the same car with simular conditions on the dyno dynamics and the dyno jet and the dyno jet putting down 13% better number. So no need for your hatting here FRIEND take that else where... As i stated earlier wait on email from tuner to post up map and vids. and going to the track next month i will update those numbers also

Good numbers maybe you will be the new fastest 5at. I put down 243 on a dyno dynamics and 253 on a dyno jet. I've run a 13.2 with no weight reduction on street tires. Btw do you have pics of your ram intake who makes it?

Update on chart above just click link. Tuners only sent me one chart out of the about 30 pulls we did and this one is a couple pulls before i got the 258whp and 240tq but this one is close enough. http://thumbp1.mail.vip.sk1.yahoo.co...=461&fid=Inbox

Nice gains in hp and tq with the tune. However, as others have said, don't much too much stock into your overall hp numbers. Bragging about your dyno number is pointless...

An example: I go to 2 strangers' homes to weigh myself on their bathroom scale. I may weigh 180 lbs on one, then 170 lbs on the next. Did I lose 10 lbs in the process? No. Bathroom scales are all different and therefore one vs. another will be off. Dynos are inaccurate in much the same way.
