Dyno & Tuning help....

Ok im fairly new in the car game when it comes to engine work... and i need some guidance understanding. Plez dont flame me but im in the process of getting a G35 and adding the following mods as soon as i get it... MD spacer 5/16, CAI intake and HFC (on the stock exhaust) for now till i get the full exhaust...From what i have read you can get your ecu flash or/and your car dyno'd....

now can some please explain a little about both so i can understand better... (and is it possible to do both)and is it worth getting your car tuned with the above mods i mentioned... or should i wait till i get the full exhaust?

I would also like to know... Like Buddi87, I am new to this and I don't see the a big benefit to spending $550+ at the dyno place when you can send your ECU to get flashed by uprev.com for $300. I'm told the Dyno tune will get me 10-15hp and I'm not sure that's to the wheels. Maybe it's best to use the extra $$ to buy other parts like a spacer and such. My car is stock 2004 g35 coupe automatic, I just ordered the R2C cold air intake and next might be an exhaust.

So... question is dyno+ ecu flash or just ecu is good enough?
