How To Change Maps Using Osiris VIDEO & Launch Control

Just a quick reference video for people who are wondering how to change maps using Osiris.

Shawn at Church Automotive programmed my maps as:

1. Power
2. Economy
3. Valet
4. Launch Control
5. Stock

I also demonstrated how to switch from "Launch Control" quickly to "Power" mode. This helpful when launching at the track allowing you to focus more on the light. It's not a 2-step by no means.

Original dyno video at Church.

Don't forget to sub to my Youtube channel.

Have you tried it yet on the street? I have it on my coupe, but haven't tried it yet at the track or street.

Since I have a 5at my rev limit is 2300 anything higher the wheels will start to spin while holding the brakes.

Instead of "launch control", I received a "race mode" (use for Octane of 100+ only). My "valet" behaves like your launch control (but set at a higher rpm, ie. 4200). My question is, what do you notice to be the difference between your launch control and your valet mode?

I haven't tried it on the street. I did try it at the track Friday night but the track was too slick. I had to launch from almost idle to get a good launch. If the track was prepped (or at least swept up), it should work just fine. It's a whole lot easier than tapping the gas to keep the revs around 3k RPM.

Here it is at around 2:45 but it was too just too slick. Spun all of first and most of second.

I was going to get the 100 octane tune, but I would rarely use it.

I've never really tried valet mode. I suppose it limits revs and mph.

Just need to put some more pressure on the brake, I have gone higher then 2.3 I have a problem with not putting enough pressure and then spinning them before green then taking my foot off the brake for what ever reason and screwing up. More seat time should help that lol.

It's an X02 with a Magnaflow resonated x-pipe with resonated test pipes.

Cool video...I always wondered how that worked. We need videos of someone doing a launch mode demo now.

Do you have an Osiris tune? If you do then your tuner may have already set you up with something.

If not, you'll need one. But don't get it just for launch control. It's meant to be stacked with other mods. So that once you tune your G, it takes full advantage of the potential in the mods you installed.

Every thing in my g is stock. I have a 350z intake and a 350z midpipe with a muffler delete, That's it. I looked to see how much the program coast and it way out of my range!! I don't see too many G's and 350z's in my area but maybe there's someone in the PA area close to Harrisburg that would like to tune it? Or what place would you recommend I go to to get it tuned at?

Since I'm not familiar with your area I wont be able to point you anywhere, you can check here and see if someone is near you: https://g35driver.com/forums/tuner-d...directory.html

I honestly wouldn't suggest getting tuned yet. You'll be lucky to get a 10whp gain right now. You're better off getting some more mods and then get a tune considering the amount you'll pay.
