Thinking about purchasing UpRev Osiris??
Hey guys i'm thinking about purchasing the UpRev Osiris Standard..I was doing some research and think that i would get a lot more outta my car with the mods i have and a tune..
Mods:
Nismo CAI
Motordyne 5/16 Spacer
HKS Hi-flow Exhaust
Berk HFC
Was thinking of getting headers but read that it wasn't really worth it for our cars so im not going to get them.Do you guys think it would be worth it for me to get the Uprev Osiris??
-Thanks in advance

Don't bother getting headers, the gains aren't worth the money.
You should add the MREV2 to your mod list. The tune will work good with your current mods. Make sure the car is dyno tuned to get the most out of it.

05's should be included on that list as well.
Is the Uprev Osiris basically a reflash of the ECU that you can do at home? And they just include the file you need based on your mods?
Wouldn't a dyno tune be a better choice? Although would cost more in the long run (if you added more mods and had to pay for another dyno tune, etc...)

there are 2 options you can go.
1) go to a certified protuner and get the dyno tune. The best way to get the best performance. You have the software on your ecu then so if you need any adjustments in the future you can go to any protuner and they can put it on the dyno and adjust it for you. Don't need to retune from scratch.
2) buy it online. They will send you a cable with the license in it, you flash the ecu yourself with a generic tune that is in the ballpark for your mods. You then datalog and send the file back to them where they modify your tune and send it back to you. You reflash the ecu and see how it works. You can repeat the procedure as many times as you want, I think the first 2 or 3 tuning tweaks are free and then they charge you like $50 each. As with option #1 you have the software so you can get it tweaked by any protuner whenever you want. Good option for people who don't live near a protuner, you get 90% of the benefits from the comfort of your home and can get the dyno tune later if you want.
In summary, Osiris is the ****. I've actually met and hung out with Jared and Rich from UpRev on numerous occasions and they can really do some amazing stuff

Has anyone even tried option 2???? With the whole sending back and forth thing vs. actually going to a tuner?? Any PROS and CONS about doing option 2? I ask this bc I have all the same mods as the OP and I live in Dallas TX where there arent any tuners for this kind of thing. The closes one to us is all the way in Austin TX =/
