You send data log information back and forth, not the ECU. And yes, there are several people who have done it. Most do it when they don't have a tuner close. When they get a chance to dyno tune they then just have to pay for the dyno/tuning time.

UPREV is in Texas too. You could go with the software and E-TUNE and when you get a chance go up to UPREV and get them to dynotune for you.

option 2 is better than option 0. Like you, the closest tuner is some distance away. While there is no doubt that dyno tune is best, the e-tunes from UpRev have been good, but you always know it could be better if done in real-time with real proof.

So in a way... both ways ill be spending an equal amount is that correct? OPTION 1 buy the software through the tuner and pay for tuning time/dyno time... while OPTION 2 is buying the software online and letting them tune my ECU without a dyno... and if I want or get the chance I could always go to a tuner and pay for dyno/tuning time since I would have the software already in my car?????

Correct me if Im wrong please... Im still very new to this tuning Uprev thing.

Correct. sometimes protuners run specials and whatnot so its hard to say which is cheaper, but both options will end up costing around the same amount. Think of Osiris as a program like Microsoft Office, once it is installed anyone who has the tools can modify files (or tune in our case).

Osiris is an awesome program and in the hands of a good tuner you will never regret spending the money. Go get it dyno tuned with Osiris and actualy enjoy the full potential of your parts. check this out

18HP and 21TQ gain from Osiris Uprev by Church Automotive.

I'll second that Vince is a good tuner. It's worth a trip to get it done by someone with experience
