A bit harsh there, but its truth.
Do it right, get an osiris tune, itll be about 5 small stacks. Or you can always get the electric supercharger, I hear they do wonders for your MAF sensor.

WOW lmao! There is the Osiris tune or the Cobb AP. I have a Cobb until I can get to Texas and get the Osiris. BUT the Cobb is not working right now till they get back to me and fix this POS so I dont recommend that. Osiris is the most recommended and it is 500. Whatever you do, dont go cheap on something that does adjustments to you ECU or you will have a 3600 lb paperwieght in your front yard.

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
Chase here's the deal. You bought a car that already comes from the factory tuned to maximize performance. There really isn't a lot more HP to squeeze out of the DE, you will have to go supercharged or turbo to see significant gains. AND modding the G will not be cheap, hence Xet's suggestion to buy a Honda. The best bet for NA mods to maximize power would be the following:
Motordyne Plenum Spacer ~10-15 HP $200
Test pipes or HFCs ~5 HP $100-400
Exhaust ~10-15 HP $500-1500
Osiris Tune from UpRev ~20HP $600
All of my costs and HP gains quoted are approximate, seems different people get different results on different cars. So I see you have a couple of choices. Enjoy the G for what it is and don't expect cheap power gains or buy a car that's more friendly to modding.

Xet is a pretty knowledgeable from what I've read on some of his other posts so.. relax kiddo.
GL in finding power adders at a decent cost. I recommend a decent exhaust, HFCs or RTPs, a tune, some basic breather mods, and if you got the money for it- scratch some previous stuff and go boost.

U def have to drop some serious cash to get minimal gains on our rides.
But for me the process of modding is half the fun.
And yes get all your potential mods and then an Osiris tune
