Cobb tuners discontinued....=o(
Cobb tuners discontinued....=o(
Since I keep throwing the "Check Engine Soon" error code after installing my HFCs I knew a needed a tune. Finally talked to Cobb and they said, they discontinued their tuners for all non FI Gs & Zs all years....gone! So I either need to install my OE cats or find another way to have SLICK tuned....any ideas?

Thanks for the replys....^....!
Replaced the right upper bank sensor with one from the stealership $170=. Just may go with the Osiris tuner from SpecialtyZ in Northridge, just sent them an email this evening inquiring about my issue.

I ended up going to SpecialtyZ in Chatsworth for my tune, the results were a 24 RWHP increase and an additional 12.4 torque. That's an increase you can really feel. Adding my engine mods was a great idea before I got a tune now I see/feel spending all the $$ was worth it....
And no more error codes....

thats good to hear another satisfied osiris customer. on a sidenote.......even though u already made the swap this is future info for guys wanting to keep there cobb. there are some dealers out there that still tune for the vq.....there were given an option of some kind of free option upgrade on there license or keep the license for the vq. i know this because a tuner in hawaii still currently tunes the vq's with his cobb license.
but yea good choice to swap to osiris.

The cobb works fine, it's just never got much tuner support. They are opening a shop here in socal, if they had done that sooner the story would have been different IMO. Not knocking the Uprev, it is probably the better way to go these days.
You know what dude some people put good reliable info on this forum and others dont know what the hell they are talking about. When I bought the Accessport you were so limited to what mods you could put on the car it wasnt even worth having. It even said in the warnings that I could not put an intake on the car because it would run to lean and could cause detonation. If you think that Cobb is even in the same league as Uprev you need to wake up and see what kind of impressive numbers people are getting from an Osirus tune.
^Those warnings are BS. I had every bolt-on installed when I had the Accessport and it worked fine. Gained 15+hp/20tq with a preset map. If my car was dyno tuned the gains would have been similar to Osiris, probably not as much but close. Uprev is cheaper and has more authorized installers which is why its the better deal.

OP, they discontinued the hardware, you can still get access tuner race software, as long as you have a v2.
