Had the Osiris Tune done: results

Just got back from getting the Osiris tune done by Frank S at Hills Garage. Baseline whp was at 244.8, post tune whp was 265.6. My mods are pop charger, 5/16th spacer, HFC's and FI exhaust. Frank was pretty happy with the results considering i have an OC plagued motor and its an automatic. As for the first impression after the tune, the car noticeably pulls a lot harder and smoother. I am very happy with the results and the customer service.

Nice man - goes to show how helpful a quality tune can be. Congrats!

Are you not going to take your G in to address the OC issue?

Thanks man. I went thru all that and they denied it because of my pop charger. There was nothing else i could do.

Any other dealerships in your area a little more mod friendly...I had my intake setup on my car and still got a new motor from our local Infiniti

Its already in the system and no other dealership can do anything now. It sucks.

I went to 2 other dealers and there was nothing they could do because Infiniti had officially denied replacement and it was all in the system

wtf an intake caused OC? They have to prove it that that part caused it.

yup as they claim. They gave me no proof, the car failed the OC test 3 times. They replaced the valve covers to see if that would help but it didnt.

You need to call infiniti of NA. Thats freaking ridiculous, they need to prove that it caused the motors OC under federal law

Check this link it explains the law http://www.dummies.com/how-to/conten...ty-intact.html

Really, even if your car is no longer under warranty, even if you need to take the mods off, I'd Get the OC motor taken care off.

It failed the OC test 3 times, which are the guidelines for 6MT, even though yours is 5AT, it still failed OC tests that are from the manufacture from the same engine(rev up yea but support your case!)

It got to the point where i had a lawyer ready to go. Lawyer made various calls and sent numerous letters to Infiniti reps but they would no budge. Lawyer said the chances of winning are less than 50% so i figured it was not worth my time or the amount of money. I have to put in about 2 quarts a month which i can deal with.
