Osiris Tuning Process

So I've been hearing about getting cars retuned after installing performance parts. I was wondering what was the process in getting the tune is like. I live on Oahu and I don't know any dealers or tuners (but then again I didn't ask the hawaii guys if there are places on the island)

Another question if all I'm getting for now is intake, plenum space, mrev2 and cat back exhaust would I need a tune or could I just reset my ECU?

With all those mods you could use a tune, but in my opinion I would def. throw on some high flow cats. or test pipes to seal the deal AND then get the tune. HFC and TP will really open up the exhaust flow. I know that with a lot of breather mods, it will screw with the AFR (air fuel ratio)...

As for whats in a tune.. Im not sure bc I have yet to get a tune myself. I have a Injen CAI, 5/16th plenum spacer, Berk HFC, and a Nismo exhaust. Lots of breather mods as you see. Headers are worth the money unless you do it yourself. I will be really soon getting a tune. I too want to know the process as well as what to look out for when the car is tune. For ex. whats a good AFR ratio, where in the power band should I look for the max whp and tq etc.?

Depends a little on where you go to but mostly what you're looking to do with a tune after bolt-ons is like, Algy said, is retune your A/F ratio and make sure your engine running efficiently and getting the power it should be getting. You dont want to be running extra lean which happens often with certain mods.
