What kind of gains for OSIRIS on REVUP?

I was wondering what kind of numbers I would expect to gain from an OSIRIS tune. I know that not all cars will be alike.

I have a 2006 6MT with K&N Drop in Filter, MD 5/16 Spacer, MD MREV2, and HKS TD Exhaust.

I've never had my car tuned, so I'm just looking for some info to see if it's worth it to tune or if I should wait for the MD ART pipes before tuning.

For the ones that had the tuning, can you please post your numbers + what power mods you have.

Thanks!

-Alex

wait until you get the art pipes installed. The tuner said that usually rev ups make more power than non. My car put down 265whp with basic bolt ons--intake, hfc, 5/16 spacer, exhaust.

I would wait until the ART pipes come in. Most of your power gains will be made by removing the restricting cats our cars come with.

Prior to running Test pipes I had all mods mentioned and butt dyno wise once I installed them there was a definate difference in power.

The tune usually gains anywhere from 10-20 hp, but its well worth it to correct the AF ratio.

Thanks for the advise. So with the art pipes and after tune, with the mods listed above.. On a revup.. What is the average total hp/torque? Thanks

its hard to tell, it really depends on the tuner. But i would estimate around 270whp maybe more.

ok can someone tell me why my car makes absolutely no power. With my intake exhaust mrev2 and spacer I dynoed at 235 hp 215 tq. I understand the loss of power due to altitude but I didnt think itd make that big of a difference.

Stinkytofu, to give you an idea, I have MD 5/16" spacer, Berk HFCs, Stillen intake, and HKS TD exhaust... tuned with Osiris, according to my tuner (Sean & Church Autotmove in SoCal), I dyno 5 hp less than a stock G37.

Alex, question what are you going to do when you need to get your '06 smogged if you install those art pipes? At least with HFCs you can pass the sniffer test, with art pipes you need to switch back to OE cats for you CA. smog test. I've got BERK'S HFCs and gained 24 RWHP & 12.5 LBS Torque with my Osiris tune. The guys that do my smog tests don't give a rats azz what I have as lone as it passes the sniffer test. When I offered my CARB sticker for my intake they declined....life is good!

You put up a very good point Gary. The hassle of switching is one of the big things that deter me from getting the ART pipes. I'm trying to find the best way of unlocking power from the REVUPs without the hassles

thanks everyone for your input
