I just received my base map for my G35x, and i'm starting to get a feel for the differences it's making. Right off the bat, I can tell the throttle mapping is much better (more aggressive).
Now i'm trying to compile a list of things i'd like changed in my first revision. Here are some thoughts:
1. Should I raise the rev limiter/shift point a little? I think the stock HP peaks at 6200rpm, and I don't think it ever revs higher than that. Maybe 6500rpm? Higher?
2. I decided that all I really care about is the "Power" map and stock map. I'd never use valet, and economy is probably a gimmick (a properly tuned power map will also be the most efficient map at low loads). Thoughts?
3. Idle RPM. Do I have any reason to change it from it's stock value?
Anything else I should think about doing?

You can play with torque management though for firmer shifts.

No...I have Osiris Standard and I'm being tuned by a local shop (non-dyno)

you will certainly have perceived gains via the remapped throttle and small gains (0-5whp maybe) from remapping the fuel tables with that depending on how far off you were before hand. you really need a dyno for real gains that can be had in the timing and cam tables.

I actually saw some pretty good gains:
Stock 0-60: 8.10 seconds
Current 0-60: Averaging 7.6 seconds
These runs were done back to back with cleared learned fueling.
