I have read reviews of HP Logic and S&R performance and one other shop (forget which one) on several different boards and it seems that all of them have their fair share of horror stories.

I have done a lot of bolt ons and I'm staying NA but need a tune. I was wanting to get a dyno tune as opposed to just doing the e-mail version through Uprev but it seems to be a bit difficult finding a trustworthy shop.

Any recommendations??...

Thanks in advance guys

I have not read any of the "horror" stories.

I'm a member of both SFL G Club and FGC and know people or know of people who have went to both shops you mentioned. I would recommend going to S&R Performance as i've heard of more success stories at that shop than the other. I haven't heard anything bad regarding HP Logic but I live closer to S&R Performance and know people who have gone to that shop to seek Osiris tune.

I believe (maybe) Lutz performance and Performance Race Solutions (in Orlando) might also do Osiris tuning...Its worth investigating all options to see which shop will give the better deal and suite you better.

/\ I didn't see anything as far as blown engines or the like as far as work, but more of shady/poor business practices with questionable or unproven gains equating to wasted money and time. The issues I have read about are a year or two old, minimum, most of the time. Z fever was the third shop I had looked into, btw.

Either which way I'm glad to hear that their names are not being thrown around with negativity of which you guys are aware.

I had been leaning towards S&R so it looks like I shall keep that line of thought. Appreciate your input!!

Edit: I have already emailed 4 different shops I believe and it's funny how much price varies for the same thing. I'm also not sure if it would benefit me to purchase the Tuner version so that I have the cable if needed. I didn't see any shops in Orlando that offered Osiris...which would be sweet as I live up in Jax.

If you go to S&R, please please make sure you get the Main tuner to tune your car. Not the guy that "can also tune"

The Main guy is good from what I hear. I had the "Can also tune" guy and I had a pretty bad experience with the shop overall.

Make sure you mention you want a baseline and final tune overlayed on the dyno sheet that they Print/email to you.

If you are close enough to GA, Forged performance is highly renowned. I hear Z1 Motorsports is great as well.

Next tune I get will be in GA, nothing is really good in FL

Edit: Forgot about HP Logic, they tuned my friends car, he had all the NA mods and was slower than a stock. Nuff said.

Damn...That's along the lines of things I had read.

Forged is about 6 hrs away while S&R is a tad over 4 hrs.

There's a lot of profit in there for the shops... IMO its always a better deal for the customer to pick up the cable and license separately so that you truly own the license even if you want to get on the dyno somewhere... If you just roll up to the shop and pay to get tuned they flash a $300 Osiris license onto your ecu but you have no way to transfer it to another vehicle or sell it used later on... you bought it, you own it, you should be able to do whatever the @$@% you want with it, lol. No shop is going to give you your $300 back for that license if you ever decide to part out
