Follow up: Uprev ARC help

Dustin and Randy of uprev just replied, pointed out indicating my ARC is good to go. But what am I missing here concerning my toggle switch ain't responding to 2 step feature? Basically its just; VDC off, clutch in, and 1st gear. Then just floor it above 3k rpm witch should activate ARC? Correct? Image by uprev personel.

floor it from idle, don't slow rev it up to 3k, just instantly mash the gas. Also make sure car is warmed up, there's a minimum temp setting to keep you from hammering on a cold engine.

Also make sure you are at a COMPLETE stop, I've had a couple instances where the car was rolling slightly (backwards even) and that tripped it. Doesn't work so good on hills..

If you can determine that's the issue ask Randy to raise the disengagement speed a couple MPH and you should be fine.

If all that is good, then another potential issue is throttle pedal voltage being a bit low on WOT. I think most of the ARC features need to see pedal voltage around 4V to activate. You can check this by going into logging, turn car on (but don't start), push the gas pedal all the way down and check the voltage. If WOT voltage is only 3.5V or something lower, then the ARC launch control won't ever activate.

Sorry if that's overly complicated, I troubleshoot electronics for a living, lol.

Stomp the pedal to the floor, don't ease on it.

See if that activates it.

I had the same issue, works for me. 1st gear, clutch in, stomp. Brapppappapapapa.

Tried, fail.

BTW, my cruise control won't engage, is this one of the factors my ARC won't do 2-step?

I think im getting somewhere...

Thanks to Luis! I clutched in, down shifted from 6th gear, floored it above 3k, and it actually stutters upon pressing CANCEL button. Is this a solid confirmation concerning my ARC is in? Please advise.

I think you're the same guy commenting on one of my Instagram videos?

Yes, ARC features are confirmed on your car. It's all user error at this point then.

That is rolling anti-lag, one of the ARC features

BTW: I just did data logging with ROMEditor;
Shouldn't be my Clutch Pedal degree values between on 90 and 91? Here, it shows all zeros "0"

Unhappy A bad clutch pedal start switch?

As the issue continues; Is there such thing as a bad clutch pedal start switch?

So today, I took off the start switch, took it apart, cleaned it with CRC QD Electronic Cleaner, and adjust its position to be closer to its clutch pedal before securing it with its 14mm nut. ...still no luck getting that 2-step to kick in, still all "0" values on the ROM Editor logging. (See attach screen capture image.)
Is there any other switches or circuits between the clutch pedal and transmission that need to be check?

Does your cruise control work at all?

There's 2 switches on the clutch pedal. The one at the bottom gets pressed when you push the pedal all the way down, that one is used for the starter interlock.
The second one is at the top of the pedal. It should be pressed at all times when the pedal is up. That one is the cruise control sensor, it disables cruise as soon as you touch the clutch pedal. Might need adjustment if your pedal isn't traveling all the way up. Should be about 1/8" gap, any more than that and it won't read correctly.

...

Yep, I did check and adjust both top and bottom clutch switches, it was my brake pedal top switch that got the cruise control to engaged again. But ill do try that "1/8 of an inch gap." Thanks.

I did 4k arc launch the other day and broke my already ripped diff bushing lol! So freaking fun but too bad I won't get to do it again until I replace them bushings, I don't want to damage anymore of my drivetrain parts LOL!

I was thinking about it all day with a smile on my face!

Don't delay on fixing that diff bushing or you will be replacing the entire differential.
