As long as the ECM has not drastically changed, it should work.

The install itself is easy, the placement and mounting on the G35 is still under development. The unit will work fine, however there is less room under the dash of the G35 to fit the unit in the same fashion as on the 350Z.We are in the process of making some mounting brackets, but I believe TX will be releasing some of their own soon..

That is correct Jimmy, all you need is a laptop conected to it,no special software. However if you wish to do some serious tunning you would need to add the Tuner Pro, which comes with a wideband and knock sensor and allows you to monitor and datalog A/F as well as any knock counts you pick up. I highly reccomend against you tunning or playing with it yourself unless you know exactly what you are doing and why you are doing it. The neat feature of the Pro-tuner, is it will datalog "inaudible" knock commingfrom the engine and allow you to see it before it becomes audible knock. Audible knock is bad for your engine by the time you can physically hear it,it has acted like a grown man with a 10lb sledghammer hitting your piston dead on.
One note is that Turbo XS in MD has offered to tune our local customers cars on the first few installs for a good deal so they can monitor the first units to hit the streets and make sure everything is dialed in properly.
Anyone interested, simply order through us and call up Jermain@ Turbo XS to scedule an install and tune!! We expect the first few units this week!!

Are the custom brackets ready to go for the G?

Also any thoughts on how this product called Cipher might complement the UTEC to provide full sensor logging, including A/F?

Why is programming interface so horrible on the UTEC? I assume it's just a simple serial interface to the controller, so why not just program up a quick gui-based app for reflashing / editing? Heck, if you gave me the protocol and a unit, I'd do it for you! :P I've seen my friend use UTEC on his Subaru, so I'm assuming the interface will be similar for the 350Z/G35.

Same interface as the WRX, very easy to use..No bells and whistles, just performance..

Well we kind of "make it fit" right now..As far as datalogging, the utec datalogs already, with the addition of the Tuner-Pro you can fully datalog knock and wideband A/F right in the UTEC interface..The Utec and the Tuner pro together are very powerful tuning tools..
