Will TS Re-Flash dissapear when I reset the car?

Three questions really......
1. If I had my car do an ECU TS re-flash, will it revert back to factory specs after i do a soft reset/hard reset.....?

2. What's wrong with the Unichip reflash? I hear that you can buy it and do your own re-flash and modify it whenever i add in new mods.... if this is the case, wouldn't this be better then the TS re-flash?

3. What would be the best re-flash program out there ?????

thanks......

Only one I know of is the Technosquare Reflash and no, a simple ecu reset won't erase the reflash.

Do you really need a reflash for getting a exhuast? Think about it first...then see if you want to spend money on a ECU so quickly.

Probably wait till after the Vortec to see what kind of EM to use then. I actually have same exact setup as your car (diff. brands) but could never find solid evidence that the flash was worth the money...not exactly like a EVO reflash if you know what I mean ...

1. Unichip is NOT a reflash. It is a piggy back.
2. TS ECU reflash can only be flashed back to stock by TS (at least that's my understanding).
3. Do you have a Unichip 'tuner' any where near you?
4. Do you like to play the "tuning by mail" game?
5. What do you expect to gain for your dollar invested?

I always thought dealers could reflash ECU's back to stock over anyone else's.. but I wouldn't worry about them detecting it (if they can) they would have to have a reason to investigate your ecu being flashed.

Im pretty sure no if they still use EPROMS since you need a ROM burner to do it.

Forgive my ignorance but wouldn't you need to have a car dynotuned to get correct air/fuel mixtures? Are all these flashs mentioned above mail in ECU or piggy back/email updates. Sorry im new to the G but I do believe all cars run differently and that most mail type flash's are probably only good for rev limits and such.
