Thumbs up G35x and UTEC!!

To my fellow Xers and sedaners:

Just wanted to share with you my experience so far with the TurboXS Utech. The Utech is an engine management sytem that piggybacks on to your ECU. For more info check out these threads:

https://g35driver.com/forums/tuner-dyno/72004-utec-turbo-xs.html

https://g35driver.com/forums/engine-drivetrain-forced-induction/77376-utec-review-explained-aam.html

Wednesday I had the Utech installed down at Altered Atmosphere Motorsports in Gaithersburg, MD (thanks to Dave, Mike and the team). I've been driving with the Utech now for a couple of days and my X is running fine! I made the trip back up I95 Wednesday night with no problems at all. AWD seems to be fine - I checked it out yesterday with the snow button and the throttle pulls back like it normally does. Driving impressions - no big difference yet but I didn't have it tuned because I'm going FI very soon

Many of us Xers know that when it comes to tuning your engine, there is nothing out there. Well, TurboXS has delivered. I'll keep you all posted but things are looking great...there's a Vortech in my near future... This also suggests to me that the ECU for the G35x, G35, and 350z are very similar at least for the '04s. More to come.

P.S. - AAM has an AWD dyno

Happy New Year!

Paul

Sounds very interesting. Us Xers always seem to get left out. Keep us updated.
