Hey guys, I have a question about an ECU reflash. I want my car to be all set by april or may. My question is, do you think I need or will greatly benefit from a TS reflash? Is it worth the money given my mods?
Installed mods now:
MREV Copper ISO Thermal Plus
UTR G-Tube
Amsoil Filter
To be installed soon:
Strup Headers
Crawford HF Cats
Stillen Sway Bars
(maybe y-pipe)
Anyway, given all the mods I will have installed, how much do you think I would benefit from a TS reflash and would it be worth the money? Any alternative methods of tuning recomended?
Thanks guys, I'm pretty sure im sticking to me mods listed above and dont want to get much more, other than a ECU reflash is needed.

With the header/cat install, the flow will be increased significantly. The stock limits for the MAF should be adequate to deal with increasing the injector duty cycle (more fuel). But the only way to be sure is to dyno with air/fuel ratios after all of the above are installed and the ECU has had a few days to adjust. If you are in the 13.1 +/- .5 range from 3K-6.5K, then I would leave it be. If not, and you want peak open-loop power, then a reflash is recommended.
You have a few options. TS which of course is a one-shot deal. If you mod later, might have to reflash again. Advantage, less expensive than UTEC. UTEC = major flexibility and precision, but over $1000. So, if what you say is true that you wont mod further, then the TS probably is the best choice.
BTW, with my new intake, I can really feel the ECU trimming back the throttle as redline approaches. Before the mod, the flow and throttle response was not high enough up top to feel it, now it is very noticable. Probably worth getting the reflash to be rid of that alone. The 7100 redline is nice too. Actually, on the 5AT like I have, the ECU trims timing (power) before each shift and I can defintely feel that too. TS removes that as well.

Even with all of those you wont find that the A:F is that far off..
I'm Running a little rich at the last few hundred RPMS robbing me of maybe 5 horse power...
I would expect the same with your bolt-ons.
