Dynojets are *not* more accurate. They can, and will, vary run to run to run. Dynapaks are much more accurate run to run, and since he now has a baseline at Church's, he can go back to truly measure the effectiveness of mods.

Use high resoultion MAF data to measure the effectiveness of mods. Now THAT's repeatable.

it's OK and not out of this world kinda result... Dynapack are usually higher than Dynojet.

I thought they were pretty good considering 5AT - they aren't out of this world numbers, but much better than stock.

To know whether those are good numbers or not, you'd really have to know what numbers each dyno tends to give. 260 in itself means nothing.

I've dynoed on Church's dyno about 3 or 4 times. Stock 350Z 6MTs get about 255 on his machine. The rev up motors (298) get about 268.

What gear did he do the runs in?

My 5AT coupe did 254 in 4th gear about 2 years ago. Latest was about 272 in 3rd gear. The highest it's ever run was 275 in slightly cooler weather.

So 260 on the Church dynapack is OK...but I probably would expect more given your mods, and especially if he ran it in 3rd. I've had about 7-8 horsepower difference between 4th and 3rd gear runs. I plan to go back after I get my Crawford headers jet hot coated and installed.

IMO...dyno's are a bunch of crap because there are too many variables...
only way it works is if you dyno your car at stock and then use the same machine and test in the exact same manner each time to see how much higher you are getting...
don't waste your time trying to argue cuz everyone has a different opinion.
