With just intake and exhaust, there isn't too much reason to add a Unichip- they haven't altered your A/F ratio significantly, and I doubt you would realize gains as my car did with all of the breather mods. Honestly, I wasn't so sure about the Unichip at first, but none of the local tuners are authorized from UTEC XS or EU, so I decided to go with what they know best. I ended up taking it to Scott Performance.

Definitely yes. At that point, I'll also have my ECU sent out to TS for a reflash so my rev limiter can be raised to 7400 RPM.

One thing to think about Boris is your lower plenum. If you're going to raise your rev limiter, you might make more power up top with a revup lower plenum.

I know several people with the non-revup motors have tried the revup lower plenum with different degrees of success(little, from what I recall). But I don't know if anyone's tried the revup lower plenum in combination with a piggyback, cams, and a raised limiter.

Boris has the revised MREV+ lower collector.

I saw that, but at heart it's still the non-revup lower collector. I could be completely wrong, but if he's going to be running cams and rev higher, I would guess the shorter runners of the revup lower collector will let him to continue to make power all the way to redline. The non-revup lower collector basically runs out of room at around 6200, though the machined version might be different with this combination of mods.

With my current mod configuration, I make peak power at fuel cutoff- my numbers don't reflect the same drop in HP towards the top of the rev range as I've seen with cars that have the rev-up engine with MREV or MREV+.

Thanks for the info/advice vodkarocket. I've done my mods with Ted at scott performance also and he actually put the thought of the unichip in my head. maybe I should install the mrev along with my exhaust and also do the unichip at the same time........these mods are starting to get expensive!!!! Thanks again, Markiev
