We're going to meet at the Quik-Trip on 3050 S. Sheridan and leave there by 6:15am. This should give us plenty of time to make the 7:45 opening gate at the track in OKC. You may want to bring a cooler, folding chair, camera, sunscreen....and whatever else you think you may need.
I assume this is still the plan????

For the Tulsa group caravaning over to OKC....I have no intention of sitting out the first few sessions to go over the drivers meeting again so that is why we are leaving early! I don't mean to sound like a jerk, but this is too much fun to miss out on! Again, we'll be leaving the QT on I-44 and Yale around 6:30am. This will put us at the track just before 8ish if everything goes well.

It's going to be a long day of driving for me. Tulsa to OKC, back to Tulsa, then to Wichita....good thing I love driving the G.

Didn't work for me....I don't know if it's something with the new IE that I have installed or if the link is bad though. The new IE sucks.

haha, time is one of the reasons I'm not coming to the April meet. To make it there at 6:30 I'd have to leave here at like 4:45ish and thats a little early for me.

Hopefully I'll make it to the later events when I live a little closer.

I'm doing some things for work in Wichita. Another guy I work with and myself are rotating days to provide some "engineering support" for a customer.

I really need to switch browsers. I tried Google Chrome but it just didn't do anything for me. I've used Firefox in the past, maybe I'll load it up.

time = distance/velocity. If you drive twice as fast you'll get here twice as quick

Unfortunately as velocity increases, so does the probability of getting a ticket.

Only reason I can afford my insurance is because they gave me a big discount for having a clean record. I've never gotten a single ticket (not even a parking fine) and I plan on keeping it that way.

Ya, especially in Oklahoma. Some of these cops have nothing better to do. We'll see you out at one of our events sometime soon.

Wow, i cant believe I almost missed this event. I'm kinda sheltered from the outside world over on myg37.com Still the only guy in the OKC area. Anyways, are sign ups for this still open? I know its kinda last minute, but i just noticed this event like 30 min ago.

Either way, I'd really like to make it down even if its just to watch. I'd really like to get to this one cause the next event is the day before finals week starts at OSU so i'll be studying ballz off probably.

Last year TONS of people showed up last minute. I was only like one of 6 people that signed up first. I'm pretty sure you'll be fine to just show up with a form and cash/check. Almost 100% we won't be "full". Especially if you only want to watch there is no limit on it, even some hi-po came last time and was like man that looks fun. Bring a helmet and if the event gets full and you can't drive I'll let you ride with me a few laps, and I'm sure other people will too since they let me ride while my car was cooling off last time
