NJ Meets?
I used to post up meet threads every week for 2 years and the entire time I only had 2 people from driver show up. It got to the point where I just gave up. Now the club is all Z's because the few G guys we had sold their cars. Im the only one left. Granted im in south Jersey but im only an hour from Toms River and Brick township. I have family in Brick. We even have our own shop (not an actual business) with more tools then you would know what to do with. The driver community is a very strange place. People want meets, you schedule meets and provide a location, and nobody shows? whats the deal?!

There are plenty of G's in NJ and I dont see why we cant all get together somewhere. Its just a matter of where and when.

OK.....So there is an Exxon on route 33. To get to the Exxon you have to come off 95 and that Exit off the turn pike make syou drive past the Twin Rivers Mall. So We can ether meet at the Gas station or at the mall!?! This is the Address.

For us Jersey people The Ocean Count Mall is pretty much 5 min from the Turnpike if you want to meet there? If not jst come up with another spot.

If that is correct I mapquested it at and hour and 8 min from where im gonna have people meet. Im aiming to leave from my spot at 2 so that should put me and about 6 or 7 other G's there at 3:08. I say you have your guys meet you there at 3 and then we can all hang for a little then cruise up to Englishtown. All in all I have a good amount of guys interested. I think it will be awesome if we have a bunch of G's and Z's rolling in together. Should be a good time.

So are us Ocean county guys going to meet at the BlueClaws parking lot and head over to meet everyone else on Rt 33 or are we just driving over there ourselves? If we meet at BlueClaws stadium what time do you wanna meet or if we are driving alone over to 33 what time is everyone getting there?

Depending on how many cars show up it will be difficult to keep everyone together heading out of there and through Hightstown. There is a bottleneck just east of there where we need to head back to RT 33 and over to 527 which is the route I assume you would be taking to Raceway Park. It would be better to meet a few miles east of there where 33 is more of a highway and not in the center of a small town. There is a diner that has a decent sized parking lot right on RT33 just east of teh Turnpike and that could be a good meeting place.
That's just my opinion and I'll meet wherever you guys want, but I want to make it easy for everyone to stay together once we're in a group.

Sounds like Vrod knows more about the area. It would be nice if the meeting place was easier for us PA guys because I for sure dont know the area very well. I will just need an address sometime this week to keep everything on my own record incase any body from my cruise gets off track. Just let me know.
I'm guessing your name is mike (Vrod). Like I said I really don't know that area so well. If you have an Address I'll Flow you. The Blue Claws stadium sounds good to me. And I'm guessing the gates open up around 4 for the show. What ever time you think would be good enough to meet at the diner prior to E-town I'm down for. I'd like to meet up and get there at the track around 3:30-3:45 so we don't catch to much traffic.

kaiser PM me with where you want to meet us. I got alot of stuff to organize and should have a goo amount of cars rolling with me. I wouldnt be surprised if we have about 15 of us. And Grant and Vrod Mike I just need an address before Friday so that I can give the address to the rest of the PA guys incase anyone gets lost or missed the caravan. Just let me know through PMs thats alot easier.
I was able to find it using MSN's Birdseye view. I don't know the address, but here is the location on the map. I'm sure if you study this you can pinpoint the area on your nav's map as well. It's the first intersection east of RT133
