I surely hope not... unless someone has the master planning to do the meet in Vegas... it's hard to just have the most number of votes have it all... friggen SoCal peeps..

IMO this ^ should be the first order of business before any location discussion.

 

If no one else will do it, I will be on the committee, but I don't have time to head everything up....

And i REALLY think that Vegas is a bad idea. You socal people are planning a meet for yourselves if it's in Vegas. I do not see a lot of eastern and florida people driving out. That is across the entire country.

you need to realize that 50% or more would be CA (the vast majority of that being So Cal)... so if you want a meet to be BIG, you are going to need So Cal ppl.

Having that been said - this topic has been brought up in the past... I dont think the majority of the people that are are pushing this really undestand how much it takes to pull off a big meet (especially one of this proposed size)... and it's very doubtful that Nissan Motorcorp is going to get involved in something like this (for various reasons).

I'm not trying to be a negatron about this idea - but the two threads are full of a bunch of people saying lets do this, lets do that... and nothing has been done to really solidify anything. If you agree to use a poll to determine location, then put stupulations on the outcome, you are already destin for failure.

each region should start with its own big meet (you wont have to squabble as much about location)... once it is established that there is interest and it is accomplished on a regional level - then consider a national meet.
