To "remind" us that any public gathering in Long Beach needs a permit.

 

Actually marcus, in long beach, if theres a pretty big gathering in one spot, then you'd still need a permit. That's the "excuse" they used to kick alot of people (about less people than at the meet) out of the park that were there for a family bbq. So no matter where, its best to just get one anyways next year. Its free i believe.
