i am new to the G scene, and meets... so I was wondering what time does this start and if i have to be mod'd to post up in venice?

 

Not sure on a starting time yet. You do not have to have mods to come. This is for everyone to come hang out.

 

If I went would I get bugged by cops for blacked out tails and ART pipes instead of cats? I know Cali and their super strict car laws.

 

^ Ironically, we have some of the most modded car's here in Cali lol. I run ART pipes myself and never had any trouble with the cops. There's always the chance you'll get hassled, but just don't drive like some street racer and you should be fine.

 

I would think since you have out of state plates they'd leave you alone. If you did get pulled over just tell them you're only there for the most epic sedan meet in the country and you're going home after it's over.

I had all of my trip money saved and put aside already then blew it all on mods in the last 4 weeks. Time to get off my azz and sell all the stuff I've been procrastinating over for the last 2 years.

You shouldn't get hassled as long as you aren't driving crazy and drawing attention to yourself. Tim has been here the last two years and is clearly in violation of several CA laws and hasn't been pulled over (knock on wood).

 

Tim puts down over 400HP... isn't that, in itself, a violation of Cali's tree-hugger laws?

 

You'll probably go to jail... art pipes and tinted tails are so tabboo... you will be the rebel of the meet

J/K of course.... there are baotloads of cars with those mods and more - you'll be fine... just don't drive in a manner to draw attention and you ill have no problems.
