You ladies are funny but I'm no better or different than any of you. I would be so happy just to hang out with some other G fans and site members. I hardly ever get to hang out with gear heads these days. My kids are still young so I don't get out much because everything is so far away.

I can only speak for myself, but you know I was kidding. I'm too old for hero worship, but your car is pretty damn sexy. We have a great local club here in Austin and have become good friends with a lot of the Strictly Gs crew from Houston so we have a lot of gearheads to hang out with. If I was here by myself and a with modded G I would definitely be sad.

I'm looking forward to meeting not only you, but everyone else I just know through this forum. It's always good to be able to put names with faces. I might have to make this a yearly commitment.

Totally agree. I've met several people who assume I'm all stuck up because of my car. I hate the stereotype and always make sure people know since you can't read sarcasm very easily.
It's a car and a hobby, no more. It keeps me out of trouble. I told my wife to be glad it is this and not hookers and blow.

And yes, it is sad not having a G/Z crowd to hang out with around here. I look forward to this event every time. I'll make it out to more of these as my kids get older and start to do their own things. Right now they are still young and like to hang out with dad so I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts.

I'm so jealous of parents, the last major event left on my bucket list is to have children. I'm getting older by the day, but have to believe that if it's in the cards for me to do so it will happen. And if I never do that was my fate. You hit the nail on the head, cherish the time you have with them now while they enjoy being around you. When they hit the teen years and start to assert their independence it's all downhill from there. Of course I'm being a little sarcastic, but parents of teenagers will know what I'm talking about.
