^How is it you don't get tired saying "the" that many times?

In FL, if it's a numbered hwy that's not an interstate, it just gets called it's number, that's all.
My house to Tampa:
259 to Nash, Get on 10 east to 75 south to 275, welcome to down-town Tampa.
Fancy that, an entire set of directions without one single "the"

 

Yep, definitely been there done that. But i gave up the herb about 15 years ago, gave up drinking a little over 3 years ago, so the only real vice I have left is the damn cigs. Trying to quit them has proven to be bigger than me for the moment but maybe someday..........

And Ash I agree with you, I don't ever see myself saying "I think I'm going to take the 10 today". Just not my thing.

In Minnesota, we say fvck the "I" and fvck the "the".

We have something similar in Florida, it's called Disney.
If you stay there too long, your brain will liquify and run out your ears, nose, and eye sockets.
I've seen it happen in person... quite disturbing... in a hilarious sort of way

 

our Disney keeps the kooks coming back ... we need to quarantine them in there and force the FL "stay too long" plan so the brains flow through nose and eyes... problem is, they have already polluted the place as is - what do we do with their final mess?
