Hey Marcus, looking at the route from here to there it looks like we're gonna go through LA on I-10. Is there a better way to get to Venice that avoids LA? PM me if you want to keep this thread clean. I might just call you in a few days, PM me your number as well if you're cool with that.
^^^ doesnt get anymore direct than the 10... no matter which way you go you will pass through parts of LA but 10 is straightest shot...
BTW, we call all freeways, highways, interstates, etc. "the"... "the "10, "the 91", "the 5", "the 405", etc... I know people in TX hate that 'cause the say "interstate 10"... but that's wrong - its "the" 10

Me: Thanks, I think I'll take I-10 all the way, save me some of that shizz would you?
I don't have a clue yet when we will get in, but I was pre-planning possibly routing around LA if we would be arriving during the week anywhere near rush hour. It does look like the straightest shot to just go through the big city. Thanks Mike.

If I smoked the hippie lettuce any more I'd take you up on that, but I quit about 15 years ago. Don't think I haven't thought about some good Humbolt hydro though.

It's not 'the' or 'interstate' it's simply 'I'
I-10... plain and simple...
And since my house is closer to I-10 than yours, I'm the expert
I'm a rock throw fro the 22, bike ride to the 405, about 7 miles from the 605, about 5 miles form the 5 and 57 and less than 10 from the 55... about 5 miles from the 91 (And the 5 again in a different area)... and about 5 miles from hwy 1 (which is PCH and the only one you dont call "the")...
Those are combo freeways, highways, interstates... so yeah, I'm an expert.

where I am if you were 3 miles from the 10 you'd be suffocating in smog... until you get to coastal area in LA county, its all an inland freeway (yes we call interstates freeways, unless we just say the 10)...
