I didn't realize you haven't even driven it. I bet you're chomping at the bit to get in it and go!! Only one more week my friend.

Yup, can.t wait. First thing I have to do is slap on my exhaust and get my suspension dialed in.

Psh, 2600miles... My old girl did 6400miles in 2 weeks and never skipped a beat the whole way, and that includes some high speed cruising through the desert bumping techno or ELO.

Oh how I miss my G... you really bond with your car on a good road trip. I REALLY need my road trip next spring to arrive so that my G and I can get to know each other a little better... and we are really gonna bond when I take her carving up the tail of the dragon.

^It's actually the other roads in the area that make you bond with the car more.

^Dragon is so intense, you're just focusing on the moment, much like a roller-coaster. The other roads around, like the Cherohala Skyway, are the ones where you really get a chance to enjoy the melding of the car/road/scenery

I think I'll enjoy both but really get to learn the car and the way it handles on the twisting backroad of the Dragon... i am just so excited to do the whole thing.

Yes I remember your trip that was cool. Didn't you have a transmission issue about halfway in, maybe on your way to California? I'm really looking to spending 4 days in the car, does that make me weird?

+1... if you really want to "bond" with your car - get on a road course! You will find things about your car (and you) that you never knew existed...

Went to Streets of Willow yesterday with some of the Rare JDM guys - so intense - it's a blast! I think I like it more than Auto Club Speedaway in Fontana (even though you can hit much higher speeds on the Roval).

No public roads will ever give you the same experience as a road course where you can push the limits in a relatively safe environment... Canyon runs and open stretched are cool, but you will always be more reserved than on a track.

yeah! nothing like it!
I rode in a race car S2000 at thunderhill, OH MY GOD, flying into 180 sweeping corners at 100mph and just zipping around the track is an amazing feeling!
my cars fast, my driving, not so much, YET!

are the raffle prizes based off of G35 sedan stuff or just everything in general?

Some of the raffle prizes are Sedan specific, but most would be able to be used by any G or Z.
