incoming calls sound nice and clear however outgoing quality is extremely variable I'm told.
I'd say in 90% of the calls I make people tell me the quality is horrendous...sounds like I'm in a tunnel, garbled, underwater, etc...
The number displayed is always incorrect too

I've been having really bad reception-the person on the other end of a call usually complains about static and cutting in-out as well as overall poor reception. One search brought up a bunch of posts about similar problems and now I know to go to the dealer. This is the first car with bluetooth, actually first time using bluetooth at all, and good to know its not normal.

my bluetooth works great actually. I use it all the time...really comes in handy being that i have a 6mt. Every so often I get the "what" from whoever im talkin to but thats usually if i have windows down or ac blastin.
I will say that the voice commands and phone book dont work as well with my treo 700w as they did with my motorola q. Im guessing because the q used windows mobile 5.1 as opposed to 3.1 with the treo. To bad the Q was a terrible phone lol.

My blackberry Pearl and Nokia E61 sounded great and had no issues. None of the Treos I have had (650, 700P or 680) worked every well at all. The sound quaility was ok, but the phones had issues staying connected. My new iPhone sounds awful and people often complain they can't hear me, but this is also true when using a bluetooth headset on the iPhone so that could be a issue with my phone and not the G.

you can also adjust the phone volume by using the radio controls while on a call. I posted a thread about this as it recently worked for me. I also posted that you could do it through the SETUP command and was b1tchslaped. I guess it was SETTINGS...
