Is it possible to view the menu (and the CD cover when a song is playing) from the iPod on the Aux screen? I wasn't sure if this was possible...

not unless the car is stopped and the E-brake is on. You also need to have the video feed running into the video (yellow) RCA connection. I use my Zen to watch episodes of the office or entourage while waiting for my GF when shes running late-

The iPod doesn't output it's menu to the screen, only videos/movies. The Zune does this which is why I bought it.

Thanks! That was the answer I was looking for.

I don't know why they don't include that as a feature though (since it would be much cooler to see the cd cover playing on the screen with the music, than just hearing the music alone).

Agreed. I would have bought the iPod but that is the sole reason I didn't. Accessories are limited with the Zune now, which is one bad thing, but I am hoping it will get better.

The iPod doesnt send out the song information and whatnot?? it will only send out the video feed if your playing video content on it? Another reason iPods Suck-

My Zen sends everything it displays on the screen out- Just cannot see it unless your in Park with the E-Brake.

There are 3rd party accessories that can show the iPod menus in video displays (for example, DLO and other manufacturers). But, I don't see them being very practical, given that the G35 auxiliary video won't work unless the car is stopped and the parking brake engaged. In that case, it's not a big deal looking at the iPod's screen, and using its nice interface.

The leaked specs for the G37 state that it will have Ipod interface control. I think it's a safe bet then that the 08 G35 sedan will have it too. I wonder if that is something that could be retrofit into the 07's?

I am confused. Is the install under the seat or in the back of the radio? How do you switch to the next song since you can't use your steering wheel controls, but can you use the radio's controls for that?

Video totally works?
