Cool Bluetooth Phone Compatability Information

Do any of you guys have information on Bluetooth phone compatibility for the 2007 G35? Infiniti's web site has limited information and unless I am missing something, it appears that their phone list is outdated.

When I owned my 2004 Acura TL (my previous vehicle), I could always rely on Acura's Owner Site for accurate Bluetooth phone information. Not only did they update the phone list regularly, they also had a very helpful matrix for each phone manufacturer/model by carrier that provided information on the phone features that were compatible with the TL's "Handsfree Link" such as:

- Signal Strength Indicator
- Battery Strength Indicator
- Roaming Indicator
- Transfer to Handset
- Redial function
- etc.

Note that depending on the phone manufacturer and model the some of the above features are not always available.

Maybe I am asking too much, but I thought I would try anyway. Also, I have already done several searches in this forum and have come up empty.

Any information would be very helpful.

Regards,

I know the enV(VX9900) works.

Although I have no idea how to transfer the phonebook.

It works kinda like the headset. You have to call using your phone itself and you'll just hear the other person on the car speakers.

I think any modern phone will "work", and as far as I know the car has handsfree and OBEX push, so you're good to go with any phone that supports those profiles.

I've tried quite a few different phones with my car and so far all of them work and they all support coverage, battery, redial, etc. The only time I had a problem was with the older blackberries not supporting address book transfer, but the newer ones (8800/8830/8300) all do with no issues.

The Nokia N75 works - I don't see signal strength though - it only shows if it has signal or none at all.
