Is it possible to add bluetooth to the base 2008 G35x? I was thinking that it might simply be a module upgrade but I really have no clue.

Any ideas???

i was thinking about the same thing but came up with nothing.
really really easy way i thought about is to buy a portable navi. with bluetooth.

 

If that's not possible, i ordered a Motorola HF850 kit off of ebay for less than 90. I works really well. I mounted the head in the Navi box (2005) and the speaker is underneath the ashtray, inside the HU area.


This is not my car (of course) but you can see the relative size of the HU.

I used to be in the mobile phone business and the Moto BT units weren't that highly regarded. Hope it works out for you but in general Parrot and Tellphone seemed to be the ones that worked out best for our customers. Had a few of the Moto units come back because of problems and stopped selling them.

Parrot also does OEM solutions for a number of auto manufacturers with Nissan being one of them. Hmmmmm, wonder if they build the module for the G.....

Anyway, I'll probably keep looking or do some more research on the aftermarket product.

 

This works well for my dad's accord. Just clip on to the visor and you're ready to go.

Of course, you have to manually turn down the radio, but hey, it's just $50.
