I was wondering how would the sound quality be if i got 2 JL 10W6-V2 and JL 1000/1 Amp installed my 2008 G35 Sedan? I have the navigation with bose sounds system. Will it sound horrible? Would it be better if i also get the JL Clean Sweep? Please give me your inputs because i am new to the audio world. Thanks. Oh yeah and is this a good price for 2 JL 10W6-V2 and JL 1000/1 = $550?

 

Overkill for 4 the stock Bose highs, unless you are a complete basshead, in which it will be just right.

 

I have 1 JL 10W3v3 and i think it compliments the factory system very nicely. I actually have to turn the sub down a little or else it tends to over power the bose system.

I'm looking to get the same setup as you, one 10" sub to complement the bose system. gonna read your posts now...

PS. two 10 inchers will almost certainly be overkill: my buddy has one 10" in his FX and the bass is already ridiculous (I *am* a basshead) - yeah we have a closed trunk so not as much of the sub's power will get through but we already have a decent amount of bass to begin with.
