Possible to turn off VDC and Video on Screen

I have 07 G35X Premium package.
I was wondering is there a way to make a video play on the screen at all?
And also am wondering how do i turn of VDC completely so that i can make my car burnout.
Another question - when i press and hold VDC for a minute or so the light VDC off shuts of and then button doesnt respond no more until you restart car? Is that what its supposed to do? (I know hodling tcs button in BWM shuts it off completely hence i tried it on my car).

For the VDC, just press the button once. You should get a "VDC off" light on the dash. now you can burnout and do whatever you want without any interruptions.

^ +1 Correct, pushing the button once turns VDC off. However, you have an AWD car (X), so burnouts are unlikely - even the GT-R doesn't do much of a burnout...once the back wheels start spinning, your G will switch traction to the front.

The screen will play video with the car in Park and the footbrake on, from the RCA jacks. Video will not play if you're in gear, and/or the footbrake is off.

G35Now! is right on the money!
Even with the VDC off you will not get this car to "Burn-out". (unless your in the snow for example, lol).
Holding the VDC button in for a minute does not achieve anything. Just push it once for off and again for on. It will always be on after restarting the car.
btw- the foot brake he is referring to the emergency/parking brake...whatever you want to call it. If you are using a iPod or similar video device, be sure that the video out option is selected on it.

Yeah but the VDC off does not turn off TC completely. Is there a way to do it?
And the 4x4 distribution system cannot be shut off either?
Last thing i would like to know - then why does VDC button stops working if you hold it for more then a minute. Is that a glitch?

Really ? I actually read it was one of the best cars for burnouts, due to high HP, not too wide of tires. I'd have to look up where I heard that. Here is a photo from that article.

From the manual (5-50)

The VDC system uses an Active Brake Limited Slip (ABLS) function to improve vehicle traction. The ABLS system works when one of the driving wheels is spinning on a slippery surface. The ABLS system brakes the spinning wheel, which distributes the driving power to the other drive wheel. If the vehicle is operated with the VDC system turned off, all VDC system and TCS functions will be turned off. The ABLS system and ABS will still operate with the VDC system off.

a) bicycle-tire width
b) it's probably the clutch slipping, not the tires spinning
