iPhone 3G
iPhone 3G
Has anyone been lucky enough to get your hands on one yet? If so, have you had the chance to sync it to the BT in the 2nd Gen Sedans? Im wondering if:
a) you get the battery meter as well as signal, as some phones dont show battery for some reason.
b) you can push the entire phone book to the car, without having to do each one manually (that is the WORST thing in the world of the BT.
SIDE NOTE --->>>I have an EnV, and it wont send the whole book, so each has to be programmed by hand. Then when the phone breaks, and they replace it under warranty, i lose all my voice tags. What gives. that is AWFUL, that should be common sense, to be able to save voice dials, and #'s independently of the phone connectivity settings.
I should have one by sunday, so if noone else has posted their findings, i will asap.
Thanks.

The 3G iPhone has the same Bluetooth stack as the older iPhone so the Bluetooth features will be the same.
No Caller ID and you cannot transfer phonebook contacts via Bluetooth....you can't even do them individually, they'll all have to be manually put in.

i just got the newest verizon phone, the LG Dare. its a great phone i love it, and it syncs well with my bluetooth. it shows caller id, signal strength, battery life, etc. you can sync all the contacts at one time, but i believe the car only holds 40, so i hand picked 40 and just sent those, i didn't even try to send all of them. so yea, if anyone is considering the Dare for verizon, it syncs great with the car
I have my 3G paired and it works quite well. The battery meter and signal bars show up along with the name I gave the phone.
I read the Infiniti notes saying that you could not push the the phonebook and didn't try.

Anyone know if I can sync all my contacts from my LG Voyager at once? I would imagine it's no different from the Dare. Also, when you say "no caller ID" do you mean it doesn't show the phone number of an incoming call, or something else?
Thanks!
Thanks!
