Heyy im looking for the best quality ipod cable to hook up to the G. Iv seen endless threads on this but was wondering which produces the best sound quality and where i can find it..i.e future shop, best buy....

Does your car not have the Prem. package with the Ipod connection? Not sure otherwise.

 

sorry i didnt state earlier, no prem package, just the outlets in the armrest

 

OP has an 07 too. No iPod connector for the 07 (which really sucks)

 

Try and find a cable with gold plated connections. I think ive seen a few with 24k gold plated.

 

Unless you are running some sort of lossless format, it really isn't going to matter (and even then it's questionable). I tried this on my home theater system (hooking iPod up with both high and low end cables), and there wasn't any noticeable difference.

 

I once used a regular cable w/ L+R audio jacks that hooked into the head phone jack of my ipod and then I recently decided to upgrade to the composite A/V cable that apple offers...let me tell you, the apple A/V cable makes a world of difference. The sound is more crisp and defined and the bass is deeper and richer. So IMO get the apple A/V cable, you will notice the difference right away.
