I did a searched but couldn't find the answer so i'm thinking it's a NO you can't shuffle : ( defeats the purpose of 9g drive when u have to go cd list by cd list.

 

Nope... no shuffle, but you can play by mood, category, date, artist or album.

 

yes you can shuffle. On the headunit press the scan/rpt button until all playlist mix appears.

So where is the scan/rpt button on the screen? near the bottom somewhere? i just got my car last week and i don't recall seeing that button.

 

It's not on the screen it's just to the right of the volume control **** on the head unit.

Confirmed. I set it to mix and away it went. Shuffle IS an option.
The world has just become a slightly better place.

 

With the MusicBox... can you only switch to another album when the car is at a standstill?? Seems that's the only time the system will let me do so....

 

You can switch to another album while in motion using the steering wheel controls. If you press and hold (up or down) the enter/select toggle switch you will move to the next album in your playlist. Not sure if you can do it from the screen, I've never tried because it is so much more convenient from the steering wheel.
