G1 cupcake killed support for bluetooth in g35

I am really pissed. the cupcake update killed the bluetooth support for my car. When I called tmobile customer service they stated that no car bluetooth service is supported with this new firmware and there is nothing that they can do right now. Why the heck would they remove something that was working fine? Is any one else having this issue? I have an 2007 infiniti g35 sedan.

I have a 2006 G35 coupe and my G1 phone with the 1.5 firmware seems to be working just fine.

That makes no sense at all. Bluetooth is a standard much like human languages are a standard. If you know German, you can talk to anyone else that speaks German whether they are male, female, adult, child. If the phone can be used with Bluetooth headsets, it should work with cars that support Bluetooth. Just as you might not understand all words spoken by all Germans, your phone may not support all the features available in the G35 phone module, but the basic features should work.

Typically when a company says that certain devices are not supported by their firmware, it merely means they have not tested that device. So the new firmware likely does work with your car. You may have to play around with pairing a while to make it work. You may have to delete the old pairing from the car and/or the phone and have them pair again. Keep in mind, though, if you delete the pairing from the car, you'll lose any phone numbers that are stored in the car.

You might try reselecting the phone to make sure it's listed. Can you be specific as to what happens when you try to use your G1?

did you try re-syncing the phone.
when u upgraded the OS your phone gets a new signature, so you car will view it as a different device, not the same as ur old one. so you have to resync
