I have just purchased a Japanese version 2004 model G35 everything is in Japanese can anyone please give me the step by step instruction in selecting/changing the language to english, take into consideration everything is in Japanese so it will have to be in detail, would be very greatfull for any help

Seems like an easier option would be to just find a Japanese person and ask them... they'll probably be more than delighted to help

 

Um... one would think there would be a language selection just like any other Infiniti system. If you're talking about the buttons and other materials, just buy a US spec materials and replace it.

 

Downloaded the english manual it showed me how to do it, but seems like the japanese version is locked can't change or even select a language. Need a copy of the english version firmware to upgrade then can change the language, anyone willing to give me a copy of their CD

 

Hmm... try looking for stuff like this:

オプション - Options
言語　　- Language
英語 - English (Although if there is an English option, I would assume it would be written in English.

Maybe if you take a picture of your startup screen I can help? (That's assuming that there is a language option.)
