hmm. I did a sub install myself a few weeks back. but i had an aftermarket deck. i installed it all and had no problems. Just with the plastics go very slow in putting them back. if they don't go in easily, take it apart and try again. Don't try to force it. :P

*** Be very careful, if things are getting frustrating. Call it quits for the night. Start fresh in the morning. its better to quit while your ahead and not break somthing out of frustration or lack of concentration.

good luck man. it shouldn't be too hard.

Why wouldn't you be able to run the power wire to the battery? What do you mean you could turn the car off? You mean the SUB didn't turn off or the car?

if your car wont turn off you went way off

if your sub stays on when your turn the car off, you have it wired to 12v contstant not switched.

When you wire it to switched it should turn on when you turn the key and turn off when you turn the car off.

How are you tapping into the wires in the G?

Are you using a line out put converter to convert your signal to RCA?
Or are you tapping into the lines and running it to an amp with speaker level inputs?

ok i got it, basically for some reason u have to watch where u connect the power wire. I connected it to a bolt closer to the other wires i guess causing the entire car itself to stay on not just the system.. anyway i connected it to the bolt that u use to tighten the terminal and it worked perfectly...so if anyone needs help or advice please feel free to ask

also it sounds beautiful really clean on the inside tho it does rattle from outside but at this point i could care less about that.

wow man, it sounds like maybe you should of had someone help you out.

Taping into wires that you arent sure of is not good a practice.

you should always wire your amp directly to the battery, where did you have it previously?
