I installed my phone a while ago and with the exception of the cars mic being of "diminished quality", I've had no problems to speak of. However, there is one thing that seems to happen once in a while.
I will press the "call" button on the wheel and scroll through the choices 'till I get to he one set as "home". I press "enter" to call, the radio goes silent and the call initiates but only for a second. Then the "hang up" screen flashes and the radio stays mute. I tried to make the call a couple of different ways, to no avail. If I pick up the actual phone and make the call, it goes through and when my wife answers, she'll say "third times a charm, huh" So, the house is getting the call but I'm not in on it.

Is it me, the phone or the car?
